Patsy Crow King
Patsy Crow King spent her first thirty years in southern Arkansas
and east Texas. She received her BA degree in Education and Psychology
from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Her master’s degree was from
the University of Alabama in Education. She taught elementary school for
31 years in southern Arkansas, Marshall, Texas, Las Cruces, New Mexico,
Carlsbad, New Mexico and for the Gadsden School District in Anthony, New
Mexico.

After she retired, she fulfilled a lifetime dream of writing. She
attended creative writing classes at UTEP, El Paso Community College and
on the internet. She taught creative writing at El Paso Community
College and later formed a writing group, Cactus Writers, on the west
side of El Paso. She has written four books as spotlighted on this web
site. She was published in Southwest Senior (Las Cruces, NM), Noble
Generation 11, and the El Paso Times. She is a member of the El Paso
Writer's League and served as president, vice-president and contest
chairman. She won many first places in the League’s annual contest.
Patsy lives in Anthony, Texas with her beloved husband, Bill. They
recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They have two
children, William Frederick and wife, Tawnya of Greeley, Colorado, and
Annette Brown and husband, Philip, of Dallas, Texas. They have 9
grandchildren, and 5 great grand children. One puppy dog, Pax, completes
the family. |
